Anxiety & Trauma
Increasing feelings of safety and calm while reducing uncomfortable symptoms.
Are you ready to feel more calm and at peace in your own body and mind?
Traumatic events create imprints on our bodies and mind. Often we feel we cannot relax, we are sensitive to sounds, places, and even people. Trauma impacts our ability to feel a connection and decreases our feelings of safety in our daily lives and relationships.
Maybe you feel like anxiety has you trapped. Anxiety can impact the way you function and connect with others. It can cause you to isolate, miss out on enjoyment, and feel as though you will never get any better. It can cause you to worry so much that you miss out on life’s precious moments.
Together we can work to decrease the feelings of isolation, inadequacy, fear, and worry!

What you’ll learn
Together we will explore the past challenges that have created discomfort in your current day-to-day. We will discuss the various parts of yourself that have held on to experiences and have created protective behaviors to continue functioning. As a therapist, guided by Internal Family Systems, I believe that we all have parts within us that experience and respond to difficult situations and events in different ways. Within our work, we will discover your various internal parts and help them to function in a way that is more successful, productive, and enjoyable in your life today.

Therapy for Motherhood
Supportive therapy for Moms in all stages of motherhood.
Mamas, are you exhausted, burned out, touched out? Has your fuse becomes shorter and you find yourself angry more often? Do you feel inadequate or disconnected from your child or partner? Do you cry in the shower (on the rare occasion you get one?)
For many, motherhood is harder than anything they could have ever imagined. (Yes, we can love our children to pieces, but still, secretly wish we had a fairy godmother to feed them snacks and stay up all night nursing them!) Motherhood can be very isolating and create deep feelings of loneliness (even if you are never actually alone). Not all moms have perfect homes, and clean car seats, and if we are tricked into believing social media we may begin to feel inadequate and unable to reach our lofty goals of perfection.
The overwhelming responsibility of raising small humans, maintaining a house, providing healthy meals, etc. can leave Moms feeling consumed by stress with minimal outlets to cope. Mamas might find themselves needing to zone out on their phones, or other less healthy coping skills just to give their minds a momentary break.
Now is your moment! Let’s create a space that is just for you.
